Riham and Jean

Here we are in 2022 and here I am 14 years into this wedding photography thing. I guess you could say- it’s all I know at this point. Thats not a negative, in fact it’s something I’m quite proud of. Finding contentment in this crazy world of uncertainty is what brings me much peace and joy. And being able to do what I love again and again after all these years? It’s pretty special! On top of that now being considered a “ Nova Scotia Wedding Photographer” …. I’m learning the ropes in a different way, a different vibe which is something that is keeping me on my toes. I look forward to showing you more East Coast weddings soon on the blog as I have more coming up this summer. But for now, I take you to my other home- Montreal where I got to photograph this lovely couple below.

Meeting Riham and Jean just a couple months before their wedding was a wonderful little surprise. When they explained the festivities that would take place at their reception- and yes- a dress change for Riham.. I got excited. I love when traditional outfits are worn at weddings and it gives me a whole new opportunity to photograph a different aspect that doesn’t always come up in wedding photos. Their morning of getting ready was so calm and refreshing. They both opted to keep things simple and get ready in their new home. Together, yet of course- waited to see one another until the ceremony at his parents waterfront property.

Jean has a real love for coffee and made sure to make Riham her own love filled latte, complete with the heart on top. Adorable much? Oui I think so. I wasnt too upset either when I got re-fueled with one of his fantastic cups of java!

Fusing their cultures together, Jordanian and Moroccan led to some pretty fantastic shots and of course, incredible music. It was a gorgeous wedding with Riham and Jean being such a gorgeous kind and sweet couple. Take a look below and let me know what you think!
